Welcome to our newest addition! We bought this home last year as a renovation project (which we're very glad to be finished with--those of you with fix-er-uppers will doubtless understand ^_^). But it turned out so nice that we're going to try and rent it for a year or two and see how it does!
All renters interested in this home need to realize that this subdivision is a family residential area and we want to be very, VERY careful about the quality and size of the groups that rent from us. Spring Break groups, high-school vacations, and all manner of non-family rentals are strictly prohibited. Misleading us to believe otherwise results in immediate eviction and forfeiture of both the balance paid and the deposit (as we are fined heavily and have families to support as well ^_^).
This beach house is nothing fancy, but it has the same warmth and feel as our other homes - and you'll love Terry's decor!! High-speed wireless internet and unlimited local, state, and national calls make great extras!!
You're immediately behind the oceanfront homes, and the house is tall! So you have some great views from the second floor balcony without the oceanfront premium!!
Of course, you have at your disposal one of the widest, cleanest, and least touristy beaches in our area!! You're in the same neighborhood as Pelican Roost, Ocean Vista, Atlantic View, The Bohemian, Garter, Pelican Way, and the Luxury Beach House. Check out those reviews and you'll see how popular this subdivision is!

General Property Specifications: Two story home, beautiful landscaping, Cable TV, VCR/DVD, high-speed wireless internet, unlimited phone calls, great views of the ocean!
Beds/Baths: 3 Br/2 Bath. Master - Queen / 2nd bedroom - Queen / 3rd bedroom - Full / Additional - Queen futon in downstairs TV room.
Pool and Hot-tub situation: There's a great 2 man hot-tub that you'll love!
Distance and orientation to the Beach: You're a super quick stroll to the beach. Just walk to the beach access path, hop over the dunes, and you're right there - 2-4 minutes tops!

Furry Friends?: This home is pet-friendly! I have four kitty-catos myself, so I know your pets are very likely just part of the family! As such, we wouldn't think of charging extra. We don't charge for "extra" for kids, parents-in-laws, or Uncle Phil, so why pets? We do charge an extra 50% deposit (i.e. $750 on the homes or $450 on the condos/townhomes), but this all comes back to you if the house is left in the same condition in which you found it. Beware, though, that a pet problem is one of the three times we've ever kept someone's deposit (the other two were smoking in the house and general spring break destruction). Wet-dog smell can be very difficult to remove! Rates: At St. Augustine Vacations, all our properties have a standard winter and summer rate. But we also offer savings and charge a premium for various times of the year depending on our usual traffic. We take pride in our transparency of our rates. All the properties have a single rent price, a cleaning fee, 6% sales tax and 3% tourism tax added onto the total--for the mathematicians among you an easy way to calculate your total costs is [ (rent + cleaning) * 1.09 ].
