Welcome to the Oceanfront Penthouse! I know you'll think we're bragging, but in our mind this is one of the best condominiums available in all of St. Augustine. It is certainly the very best unit in the Colony Reef oceanfront complex. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom flat has a wraparound balcony with a simply amazing view. All these pictures are taken right from the balcony.
Colony Reef, the complex for this property, is one of the more upscale condominium complexes on St. Augustine Beach. All units come with free use of the largest swimming pool on Anastasia Island, tennis courts, an indoor pool, spa, and a private fitness room.
This apartment is on the fourth floor, in the Northeast corner of the Southern building. For those of you scratching your heads, this means that you have the amazing oceanfront view, the amazing pool/dunes/grounds view, and you get the best summer shade of the entire complex (since you largely face North).
You might just wind up spending all your time on this patio looking out over the ocean. We have high-speed wireless internet installed here, so feel free to "work" right here. You'll feel like you're in a Corona Light commercial! Oh yes, and unlimited local, state, and national calling is standard as well.
As with all our condos, we charge only rent, a nominal cleaning fee, and the state sales and bed tax. Everything else (washer/dryer, internet, utilities, TV, etc...) is provided completely free of charge. Sadly, the complex has banned the use of charcoal and large gas grills, so we've decided to discontinue offering this amenity here. You can rent them at www.bigbillsbeachstuff.com, though!
Our rooms are all decorated by our own personal interior decorator (Terry Hartley) and exude warmth and familiarity. You're sure to love it!

Distance to Beach: You can get a good idea of how close to the surf you are from the view from the balcony. Just come down the elevator, walk across the dunes, and you're right there! Rates: At Hartley and Sons, all our properties have a standard winter and summer rate. But we also offer savings and charge a premium for various times of the year depending on our usual traffic. We take pride in our transparency of our rates. All the properties have a single rent price, a cleaning fee, 6% sales tax and 4% tourism tax added onto the total.
