Rates   Renter Reviews   Availability Calendar  Property Map  More Pictures/Info     Matanzas Home:  We decided to branch out a bit on this one and grab a property for boat-lovers.   3Br (though the large game room has two sleeper couches)/2Bath (king, queen, two twins, two sleeper couches, two love seats that can sleep a small child), this 2000 sq. foot home is a wonderful place to stay if you want a luxury vacation for a bit less than oceanfront prices.  You're at the very Northern tip of the island directly on the intracoastal waterway with a private boat dock.  It also features an enormous lot, private pool/screened-in patio/Jacuzzi, and is a quick 4-5 minute walk to an incredibly wide and secluded beach! Mountain Chalet: Something rustic more your style?  This luxury Chalet borders the Nantahala National Forest.  This effectively means you get a one million acre backyard for your pleasure.  Hunting, hiking, riding, 4 wheeling are popular up in this North Carolina hideaway.  If you like neighbors, though, this isn't for you.  A twenty minute walk away from the next establishment, you are secluded, secluded, secluded (though you're only fifteen minutes by car from Franklin - for local activities check out this new page: Local Info)!  4Br/3Bath (2 queens, full, and one set of bunk beds, queen and a twin in the bunkhouse), separate bunkhouse (with 1Br/1Bath), wrap-around porch.  Despite its size, we've decided to restrict this property to smaller families under the size of eight persons (furry friends don't count, which are very welcome by the way).  Two-story but most on single floor.  Pet-friendly.
